Start-Up for CW102

1. Podium-needed for any activity
   • Unlock 4 locks (1A-1D)
   • Podium Power remains on at all times. If power is off, power switch is located at the bottom of the podium in the center
2. Using the Room Lighting-get better visibility of display
   • Preset dims 1-4 (4 Lowest), press numbered switches
   • Rheostat bottom switch (up to brighten, down to dim)
3. Using/Projecting the Computer
• PC (use the top keyboard)
  1. Press "PC" switch on Media Link Controller to project/display
  2. If PC is not on, move mouse or push PC Power On/Off button
• MAC (use the bottom keyboard)
  1. Press "MAC" switch on Media Link Controller to project/display
  2. Turn on MAC; push MAC Power On/Of
4. Using the (VP) Visual Presenter to show hard copy
   1. Turn on VP
   2. Raise camera arm & lights
   3. Press the "Document Camera" button on the Media Link
5. Using the DVD player-show a DVD
   1. Turn on DVD Player "Power"
   2. Press VCR or DVD button on Media Link.

Shut-Down for CW102

End of class-prepare for next person-needed if equipment was used

1. If used DVD Player
   • Eject DVD
   • Turn off DVD Player "Power"
2. If used VP
   • Turn off VP
   • Lower lights & camera arm
3. Computer shut-down
   • Replace wireless mouse on cradle/charger
   • PC-On bottom menu bar-Select: Start-->Shut Down-->Restart the Computer-->Yes
   • If used MAC-Click "Special" select "Restart"
4. Turn off Projector Press "Display Power" button on Media Link and hold for 2 seconds. Projector will then turn off. Please visually check that the light is off on projector.
5. Put Away All Remotes
6. Podium
   • Lock 4 locks (1A-1D)
7. Lighting turn off lights if no class following
