Special Courses


Short courses



In addition to facilitating a variety of short courses, IGP annually hosts foreign individuals and trade teams who are seeking shorter specialized training programs. Each program is tailor-made to meet the specific needs of the visitors.

These special courses can be presented at the IGP Center in Manhattan, Kansas or in other countries. Courses have been held in Turkey, Venezuela, Mexico, China and Egypt.

Recent course topics included hard white wheat, wheat blending, food aid, grain grading, storage and handling, high oil corn, soy imports, feed quality assurance and grain sorghum food utilization.

For information about arranging a specialized IGP short courses, overseas technical assistance or a visit to the IGP Center, please contact the Program Administrator or Program Assistant by phone, fax, letter, or electronic mail. Please allow four (4) months for program development and planning.
