The purpose of this event is to bring Recreational Services at K-State closer to the international community and to celebrate cultural understanding and senstivity through sports.

Activities are open to anyone: students, faculty, staff, family members, dependents, community members, at least 50% of players must be of international origin. Registration ended March 27, 2009.

Closing Ceremony

As we move closer to the Final Championship Games, we would like to invite you to the Closing Ceremonies scheduled for this Sunday, April 19th at 5:30pm, at the REC (enter through the main entrance, down the hall to your right, past the exercise bikes, towards the televisions).

Come and support your team as they face off in the Final Championships! Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for each sport category.

Opening Ceremony

Please visit http://www.k-state.edu/icc/championships2009/rsvpop.html to R.S.V.P. for this Saturday's event.  Make sure to count your friends and family that will attend!

We will start at 12:00pm at the K-State Old Stadium, serving free boxed lunches to the first 50 attendees.  In addition to food, we will be distributing t-shirts for all those participants that signed up for International Championships.

Note:  If it is raining at 11:00am on Saturday, the Opening Ceremony will be canceled.

**TEAM T-SHIRTS WILL BE HANDED OUT**

12:45 - 1:00pm, the Opening Ceremony event will start with a Flag Ceremony.  (Attendees will have the opportunity to parade their flag across the field)

After the Flag Ceremony, all attendees will be divided into teams and participate in several friendly games:

Tug of War
Toilet paper pass
Sack race
3-legged race
Relay race
Sling shot compeition
Wheel barrow race
Grand relay race
