The
IAA Higher Education Vision:
High-quality academic programs are available to all persons. Higher education
institutions rapidly address emerging educational needs by sharing resources.
Registration and student records management are student-friendly. Faculty members
enhance their knowledge and skills through interaction with peers in their areas
of specialization. Inter-institutional academic programs are financially viable
and sustainable.
Teams - the IAA Strategic
Plan for Inter-Institutional Collaboration:
1. An inter-institutional faculty team develops the program curricula.
2. An institutional team of academics and administrators implements the program
at their institution.
3. Inter-institutional peer teams resolve inter-institutional program, financial
and procedural issues.
A team is “a small number of people with complementary skills, who are committed to a common purpose, set of performance goals and approach, for which they hold themselves mutually accountable.”
