This session is for managers and supervisors to build upon the foundation/information supervisors receive during the "Introduction to Supervision" training. Incorporated in this session will be case vignettes/studies and discussion designed to enhance supervisors/managers' skills in three areas - 1)Recognizing threshold behaviors, 2) communicating and modeling behaviorial expectations to employees, and 3) understanding a supervisor's responsibility under the policy and procedure for harassment and discrimination complaints policy.
This is an event through the partnership of the Department of Affirmative Action adn the Division of Human Resources. There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Minimum enrollment is 15.
