Preventing Sexual Harrassment - WTD013

Intended audience: All new faculty, staff; or any K-State employee who has not previously attended a session on sexual harassment.

The session, for non-supervisors, is to increase awareness of issues related to sexual harassment and to inform participants of university policy regarding sexual harassment.

Overview

After attending this session, you will be better able to...

  • Recognize why sexual harassment is a form of discrimination;
  • Identify quid pro quo and hostile environment sexual harassment;
  • Confront harassment to make it stop; and
  • Follow university procedures for reporting sexual harassment.

Supervisors are urged to enroll new employees who may not be familiar with K-State's policy, including those who have transferred from other state agencies.
