Summer Leave Without Pay for 9
Month Faculty
Involuntary Leave Without Pay
Human Resources will:
- Automatically place all unclassified employees in 9-month
benefit eligible positions on involuntary leave without pay with benefits
in HRIS effective May 17, 2009.
- All unclassified employees in 9-month benefit eligible positions
will be automatically returned from involuntary leave without pay in HRIS
effective August 9, 2009. (If applicable, the automated salary increases
will be updated with the same effective date.)
Department Personnel Specialist must:
- Ensure the payroll funding is accurate when the employee
returns from leave.
- Submit a copy of the contract to HR for all faculty on term
contracts who are automatically returned from involuntary leave without
pay.
- Terminate those faculty members who will not be returning in the
fall by submitting a Change
or Separation Form (PER-39) (pdf) to HR.
