Elimination of Social Security Number from Paycheck
As part of our yearly maintenance contract with PeopleSoft,
tax update changes are routinely delivered to us throughout the year. The most recent tax update provided by
PeopleSoft includes changes to employee’s paycheck stub or advice, as well as
paycheck view in employee self-service.
Effective immediately, the employee’s social security number will no
longer be displayed on their paycheck stub or advice. Likewise, the social security number has also
been removed from the paycheck view in employee self-service. These changes were implemented in response to
legislation enacted and pending in other states, as well as privacy concerns
voiced to PeopleSoft.
Please share this information with all your department personnel.

now available on the Human Resources and Benefits Administration web
pages. The enrollment form may be found

GRA/GTA students will find the GRA/GTA Master Policy, GRA/GTA Health Insurance Booklet, and the GRA/GTA Enrollment Form at the Benefits Administration web page with appropriate links to each document. Please advise the GRA/GTA students in your department.
