The university is open on Veteran's Day and classes are in session. However, it is a recognized holiday for employees who earn vacation leave. Nine month instructional employees (faculty) do not earn vacation leave; therefore, it is not a recognized holiday for these employees. Two identical Graduate Student Appointment Workshops are being conducted on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in the K-State Student Union, Room 209. The morning session will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The afternoon session will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some of the topics to be covered will be policy changes, tuition benefits, tuition waivers and health insurance for graduate students, as well as graduate student employment guidelines.

To simplify pay check/payroll funding review for pay periods ending 12/29/07 through 12/12/09, department personnel specialists have access to the Pay Check Distribution History page which includes a download icon for transferring data to Microsoft Excel.
HRIS/Employee Self Service will be upgraded and unavailable Saturday, November 17, 2012, 6:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. The upgrade will be transparent to most users and will not have any effect on navigation or page display.
