Benefits-eligible employees received the 2011 Open Enrollment book and instruction email this week. As personnel specialists, you will undoubtedly get many questions on the process, one of which undoubtedly will be, "What's my Employee ID number?" In the instruction letter, we tried to anticipate questions, addressed sign-in procedures and provided the State's Help Desk number if problems arose with the website. We hope that employees will read the email and breeze through the process. An important reminder is that problems with logging in or passwords must be directed to the KHPA Help Desk at 1-866-999-3001. We regret we cannot assist in this area - technical support is provided by State of Kansas IT personnel.
INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS will be held at 8:30 am and again at 3:30 pm in Forum Hall on October 7th. The sessions are identical. This is an opportunity for employees to review changes in the Health Insurance for 2011. This is an invaluable session to help employees complete the October online open enrollment process. For employees outside of Manhattan, there are numerous meetings across the state: schedule (pdf)

Employees within 5 years of their anticipated retirement will benefit most, but all are welcome.

All classified employees, except for those currently on probation, must have an annual review submitted to Human Resources no later than December 23, 2010.
For those who would like more information on the Performance Management Process, we are offering a review session on Thursday, October 28th from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM and Tuesday, November 16th at 8:30 AM.
We will also be offering review sessions for employees. Those will be held Thursday, November 18th from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM and Wednesday, December 8th from 10:30 AM - Noon.
