HRIS Funding Report Enhancement
The individual’s check number now displays in the last column on the following funding reports:  Pyrl Funding:  How EE (Employee) Was Fund(ed) and Pyrl Funding:  Who On Account.  This enhancement is intended to assist those processing payroll transfers.

Military Leave Amendment
Kansas Administrative Regulation 1-9-7b has been amended to increase the number of working days of military leave with pay for active duty from 12 working days to 15 working days within each 12-month period beginning October 1 and ending September 30 of the following year (Federal fiscal year).  This amendment is effective October 1, 2006.  The Benefits Administration web page and Policy and Procedures Manual, Chapters 4860 and 4865 will be updated accordingly.

2006 KSU Benefits Fair
The KSU Division of Human Resources is hosting the 2006 KSU Benefits Fair from 10:00am to 3:00pm, October 10, 2006, in the Main Ballroom of the KSU Student Union.  Representatives from various benefit programs will be available to answer questions about their plans.  The Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS), Kansas Board of Regents basic retirement plan companies, and various voluntary tax-sheltered annuity vendors will be represented.  Health, dental, pharmaceutical and vision insurance providers will be represented as well as numerous campus and community organizations.

Health Insurance and KanElect Open Enrollment Meetings
The KSU Division of Human Resources has arranged for a representative from the State of Kansas Health Policy Authority to conduct two identical health insurance and KanElect open enrollment meetings in conjunction with the 2006 KSU Benefits Fair on October 10, 2006, at 9:00am and again at 3:00pm in Forum Hall, K-State Student Union.  Each meeting will outline the State of Kansas health, dental, pharmaceutical, vision, health savings account and KanElect programs for plan year 2007.

Please remember that open enrollment will be conducted on-line via the internet from October 1 through October 31, 2006.

Health Insurance/KanElect Open Enrollment Informational Meetings for HR Specialists
The Division of Human Resources will conduct two identical health insurance/KanElect open enrollment informational meetings for department human resource specialists, scheduled as follows:

October 2, 2006     1:30pm – 3:00pm     K-State Student Union, room 212
October 3, 2006     1:30pm – 3:00pm     K-State Student Union, room 212

These meetings are designed to provide information about the State of Kansas health insurance and KanElect programs for plan year 2007.  Pre-enrollment is not required.  Open enrollment will be from October 1, 2006 through October 31, 2006, on-line via the internet using the Access Kansas program.
