It is important to keep the employee's supervisor (Reports to (i.e., Position Number)) up-to-date for all employees. The employee.s supervisor is used to determine department reporting hierarchy and the information is critical in the HRIS workflow processes that notify supervisors when their employee's eTime entry and Conflict of Interest Form are ready to review. It is also used in performance review tracking process and is used to notify supervisors when an employee enrolls in a training session. As we develop more enhancements in HRIS, this field is becoming increasingly important.
The employee's supervisor (Reports to (i.e., Position Number)) may be updated using the Position Update page. Path: Workforce Administration > Job Information > Position Update.
