This is a reminder that the employee signature should always be included when an employee is being rehired after a break in service of more than 30 days. This is not a policy change. This policy is enforced for the protection of both the department and employee as acknowledgement that the employee is aware of position title, FTE, pay rate, etc. when being hired or rehired.
