The Division of Human Resources will be offering one-on-one training sessions this year for personnel specialists who would like assistance with completing personnel transactions for summer. Information covered in the sessions will include:
Please note that this year we are requiring that all summer positions be a different temporary position number than the position the employee is on during the academic year. This includes those employees who are on a non-budgeted position during the year. Last year we allowed departments to use the same position number, as long as it was temporary. This resulted in significant funding issues, and therefore, we will require a different position number for the summer appointments.
Please contact Kristi Fronce (fronce@ksu.edu) or Connie Jordan (cjordan@ksu.edu) at (785)532-6277 to schedule a training session with HR staff or with questions regarding unclassified summer transactions.
