For a new employee, the process for creating a K-State eID and authenticating/verifying with K-State has changed. It is no longer necessary for the new employee to be hired in HRIS to authenticate/verify. They may now verify immediately after creating their eID and password using either their Wildcat ID Number (WID) located on their Wildcat Card or social security number. For those completing this process, it will no longer be necessary to grant special privileges to enable e-mail.
Please ignore this process if the new employee is a K-State student or has been a student and/or an employee in the past, there is no need for them to register and verify again.
