The position is the KEY to providing information to functions within HRIS and is the KEY to providing information for the University community. The position defines essential information that is used to process time and leave, payroll, budget data, management reporting, salary surveys, etc.

Beginning with the pay period ending Jan. 23 that will be paid Feb. 5, Employee Self Service will be the only way to view paycheck (aka "pay advice") details. Employees will no longer receive a paper pay advice via the U.S. Postal Service. Pay advice/paycheck details are normally available via K-State's Employee Self Service a week prior to payday. For the few employees who receive a paper paycheck, those will continue to be mailed as usual.
