Hourly Student Employment for Summer

Criteria for Employment

(at least one of these must be met to be an hourly student ee)

Hire Date for New Hires

Enrolled in 6 hours for Spring

Any time during the summer.

Pre-enrolled for Fall in at least 6 hours

Any time after the summer starts.

Enrolled in summer for any # of hours

Any time after the summer starts.

Admitted to study in the Fall

Any time after the summer starts.

GTA/GRA/GA Employment for Summer

Criteria for Employment

(at least one of these must be met to be a grad ee)

Hire Date for New Hires

Enrolled in 6 hours for Spring

Any time during the summer.

Enrolled in at least 3 hours during Summer

Any time after the summer starts.

Enrolled in Fall only

May be hired effective with the start of the fall semester.  Most often hired with academic year start and end dates.

Separations:  Hourly and Graduate Students who will not be returning in the Fall or those who graduate in Spring or Summer must be terminated before the week classes begin.

College Work Study Program Dates

The Federal Work-Study program at K-State is the College Work Study Program (CWSP) administered by the K-State Office of Student Financial Assistance.
