Having a hard time adjusting on campus? Problems dealing with stress, family, relationships, alcohol, eating disorders, or other issues? Counseling services provides short-term, focused counseling in the areas of: decision-making, crisis intervention, solution, adjustment, and matters of personal concern. They also assist in identifying and referring additional resources on campus and in the community. Check out their website resource page for self-help tips. Also, the Alcohol and Other Drug Education office supports access to personal assessment on alcohol and other drug use.

The Health Promotion/Nutrition Counseling Department provides nutrition counseling to include a self assessment tool through Lafene’s web site; presentations on health topics; peer education programs; and CPR certification. Health Educators also teach an 8 week college health course available for 3 credit hours – enrollment in EDCEP 103 available through iSIS.
