HRIS Training: Recording Time and Leave Information Using HRIS

Course Code:  WHR147

Course Name:  HRIS Time and Leave

Prerequisite:  Be able to use a web browser that supports HRIS and attend the HRIS On-Line Basics course

Department:  Human Capital Services

Length of Session:  2 Hours

Audience:  Department HCS Liaisons

Session Description:

An on-line course that enables the user to capture daily time and leave information using the HRIS. This course will be held in a computer lab and each participant will have access to a computer for completing activities presented in class.

Session Objectives:  As a result of this session, participants will:

  • Access policies and procedures
  • Access time and Leave time lines
  • Know about the relationship between work and holiday schedules, position management, earnings code and employee data
  • Print employee time documents
  • Access frequently used earning codes
  • Add a time sheet on-line
  • Enter employee's time and leave from employee time documents
  • Error detection and correction
  • Maintain leave balances
  • Understand time entry pages and leave accrual pages

Or e-mail learning-develop-hr@ksu.edu and include your name, department, employee ID number (required), course title and course date. Enrollment will be confirmed by an e-mail response to the sender.
