Length of Session:  1 hour 15 minutes

Audience:  Supervisors of University Support Staff

Session Description: A supervisor is often the first person an employee contacts when he/she needs time off or has an issue that the K-State benefits department can assist with. Therefore, it is vital that supervisors have a clear understanding of benefit programs to support their team and enable team members to be productive and fully supported in their roles.

Session Objectives: As a result of this session, participants will: 

  • Become familiar with K-State’s Policy and Procedure manual in regards to leave programs
  • Identify benefits that may help to support your team and the appropriate situations those benefits can be applied

You may enroll through HRIS Self-Enrollment to receive immediate confirmation (see the Employee Self Service Learning & Development directions for more information). Or e-mail learning-develop-hr@ksu.edu and include your name, department, employee ID number (required), course title and course date. Enrollment will be confirmed by an e-mail response to the sender.
