Encuentro 2011

We are pleased to announce the 5th Annual Midwest HALO Encuentro which is a day where we host Hispanic students on the campus for a day of programming.

Our date is October 11, 2011 in conjunction with Hispanic Heritage month. We cordially invite your student group to be a part of this wonderful event and would be honored if you would join us in making this conference an exciting time to remember. We have planned a full day of fun activities, wonderful speakers, and mariachi music. Our guest speaker for the event will be Dr. Juan Andrade, Jr., President, United States Hispanic Leadership Institute (USHLI). He has been recognized four times as one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in America;

he was inducted into "Society of Life Models" by OMNI Youth Services for the impact of his work in promoting education and leadership development for high school and college students.

We are also pleased to announce that K-State Men's Head Basketball Coach, Frank Martin, will be joining us once again.
