Great Idea!!

After attending "Engineers & Scientists to the Rescue" last year, Pam Collinge had a great idea. As 6th grade science & technology teacher at Marshall Elementary, she is always looking for new ideas. The hands-on activity at the GROW event, State Fair, peaked her interest and she decided to use it in her classroom.

She partnered with a local vet to come talk about how his profession helps with Avian Flu and show her students how he uses science in his profession. She then used the GROW activity as a follow up with her class.
