The GROW Workshop is a three-day program held on the
K-State
campus to encourage and inspire middle school girls to pursue
a future in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Participants live in the dorms during their stay and have the
opportunity to meet other girls from Kansas and other states
who are also interested in sciences & engineering.
Teachers are invited to join us at the workshop! As a teacher partner you will work with Dr. Jacqueline Spears to document activities led by faculty and graduate students at the GROW Summer Workshop. We will use these lesson plans at other events and provide them to others on our website and other venues. You will be paid a small stipend for your time and will have your room and board expenses covered by GROW.
