GROW 2003 Summer Workshop - Water Wars

Water Wars was based on the TLC program Junkyard Wars. Girls were broken into two or three teams. Each team was given a bucket full of poly-pipe, pipe fittings, and a small submersible pump. Teams needed to construct a water network to move water through the poly-pipe with enough pressure to shoot the beach ball into the air. The girls learned about pumps, pipelines, and pressure.
