GROW 2003 Summer Workshop - Building a Career in Structures

In this session, everyone helped build a bridge and then crawled across. The concepts of tension and compression were demonstrated. Ms. Meili also discussed how civil engineers design bridges. The girls also had an oppurtunity to learn about the many different career opportunities that are available to civil engineers.
