Panhellenic Council Board of Director Elections
Questions were taken by the slated and nominated candidates for the 2009 Panhellenic Council Board of Directors. Elections will be held at the next Panhellenic Council meeting on October 10 at Kappa Kappa Gamma. If your chapter has not already done some, please consider which nominees for which you vote will be cast. Application materials for all candidates are located at http://www.k-state.edu/greek/news/elections.htm. Please also note the recognition ceremony for the 2008 Board of Directors and the installation ceremony for the 2009 Board of Directors will be held on December 14, 2009.
New Member Council seeks applicants for 2009
The New Member Council was founded in 2007 and is about to graduate it’s first set of leaders. It’s time for current new members to consider applying for seats on the New Member Council – Applications are due November 14 by 5:00pm in Greek Affairs. Serving on the New Member Council is an excellent way to understand the way the Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils operate while working to promote the entire Greek community. It’s the hope of the PHC and IFC those serving on the New Member Council will become the next PHC and IFC leaders. Second Fall Roundtable to focus on Officer Transitions
Make sure to mark your calendars for the November 6 roundtables. This roundtable will help you prepare for officer transitions. Join us at 6:30pm on November 6 at the Alumni Center. The Roundtable should be concluded by 7:30pm and is intended for all chapter officers.

ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover come to Manhattan area
We’re excited to let you in on a little secret…Extreme Makeovers Home Edition is coming to central Kansas – Chapman to be more specific. We’re working on getting something planned for the TV shows’ November 11-16 nearby filming. Expect more information very soon!
Healthy Women at the Rec
The Rec invites you to join them for an hour workshop to learn more about introductory lifting techniques and health benefits of adding weight lifting to your workout routine.
