Fraternal Relevance Accreditation
Outcomes and Recognition
Greek Awards for chapter programming and individual contribution
Chapter awards are offered annually for the previous year as part of the Greek Awards celebration.
Awards for relevant programming
Chapters found to have relevant programming in any of the eight areas of standards are recognized. Find out which chapters were recognized and in which areas.
Awards for clearly relevant programming
Clearly relevant is the highest mark the Fraternal Relevance Accreditation Committee may offer. In 2009 it was the pleasure of the Greek Affairs staff to offer 20 chapters recognition for clearly relevant programming.
Contributions awards for individual achievement
Daily outstanding actions are offered by outstanding individuals. These actions and ideals create the progress that is at the heart of the K-State Fraternity and Sorority Strategic Plan and the Fraternal Relevance Accreditation and Minimum Expectations program. Greek awards are offered annually not just to chapters for their positive contributions to relevance, but also to the many individuals making fraternal relevance possible.
Annual chapter proposals for accreditation
Each chapter submits an accreditation proposal annually between December and January to a committee of K-State stakeholders, for review by a group of relevance judges. Proposals for accreditation list the chapter's previous calendar year's outcomes, how they worked to achieve those outcomes, and outcomes for the following calendar year.
