Erin A. Huffman, director of resource development - Delta Gamma Fraternity
“GREAT program idea. I was very impressed with the criteria that the chapters were supposed to judge themselves relevant on. I'm excited to see where this program takes the K-State Greek community in the future.”
Neil E. Stanglein, coordinator of Greek life and student involvement - William Woods University
“I want to thank you for the opportunity to review the Chapter Development Outcomes for the Panhellenic sororities at Kansas State University. I applaud the efforts of your students, alumni advisors, and KSU staff members. This is truly exciting to see the Panhellenic sororities participating in an endeavor that asks them, as leaders, to reflect on what they do. “
John P. Henderson, fraternity and sorority life professional - University of Colorado
“Thank you so much for this opportunity. It was a neat process with the online system and I am glad I was able to help. I am interested later in speaking with you about the program. UM is in the process of trying to change our awards and move in this direction. “

“We are in the process of revamping our Accreditation process and we like the work that you all are doing with your relevancy focus. Is it possible that you can send me the guiding documents that you send to us reviewers who helped out with this last year?”

“I look forward to seeing what comes of this after its first year. Bravo!”
Stuart R Umberger, assistant director - leadership education & development - St. Cloud State University
K-State community members
“Our Accreditation scores were right on target”
Bill Muir, Alpha Tau Omega chapter advisor
“I believe that this program holds the key to future success for our community. By encouraging chapters to always show progress, we can begin to hold ourselves to a higher standard. “
Andy Gigstad, 2008 K-State IFC president
"The formal adoption last school year of the fraternal relevance program by K-State's Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council showed me the forward thinking of our student leadership. It is a whole new way of evaluating a chapter's standing in our university's greek system, and it provides the professional advising staff and alumni volunteers a better way to target their time and energy on chapter weaknesses. Admittedly, some alumni volunteers were puzzled at first, but upon understanding how fraternal relevance works, they are embracing the new program."
Tim Lindemuth, President, K-State Alumni Fraternity Council
