Express mail services for admitted international students
How to get your I-20/DS2019 via express mail
Upon an international student's admission to graduate studies at Kansas State University, the student will receive an email from the Graduate School at Kansas State University asking if they would like to have their acceptance letter and I-20/DS2019 mailed
- via regular overseas airmail OR
- via express mail through eShipGlobal Services.
They will have three days to respond on which mail process they choose to have the admission documents shipped. Failure to respond to the email within three days will result in the admission documents being sent via regular overseas airmail.
1. Send documents by regular overseas airmail.
Sending admission documents by regular overseas airmail takes approximately 4-8 weeks. Students should instruct the Graduate School within three days of receiving an email if they choose to use this option.
2. Send documents by express mail through eShipGlobal Services.
The Graduate School at Kansas State University uses an express mail service through eShipGlobal Services that allows the student to receive the acceptance letter and I-20/DS2019 within 3-5 days. SENDING THESE DOCUMENTS WILL BE AT THE STUDENT'S EXPENSE. The student should notify the Graduate School within three days of receiving an email if they choose this option.
To use eShipGlobal Services, students are required to create an account at https://study.eshipglobal.com (works best with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browsers). You should create an account immediately (within 24 hours). Your credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover cards only) will be charged for use of this express mail service select FedEx or DHL. To request shipment of admission documents, the following information will be needed:
First/Given Name and Surname/Last Name
Student's current mailing address
Credit card information (Visa, Mastercard or Discover Cards only)
Kansas State University Wildcat ID (WID) number
Please pay close attention to information submitted as errors in credit card information or incomplete or incorrect addresses will delay receipt of admission documents.
The Graduate School will be notified by eShipGlobal Services once the student has requested express mail shipment of admission documents.
