Citation & Acknowledgement Information
Grant Number for acknowledgement purposes: NSF DGE-0841414, PI Ferguson
Fellows should acknowledge their fellowship in publications and presentations, being sure to include “NSF GK-12.” Examples follow:
Paper publication:
“We thank Jane Doe and an anonymous reviewer for valuable comments, and acknowledge support from NSF 000000 (to JAD) and the KSU NSF GK-12 program (to JCD).”
Dissertation:
“I gratefully acknowledge a fellowship from the KSU GK-12 program during my 2009-2010 academic year.”
Presentations:
“KSU NSF GK-12 Program” can be listed with other acknowledged funding sources. The logo can be used if desired, but not necessary. In general for these kinds of presentations, “EIDRoP” should probably not be listed (just confuses), but it is critical that acknowledgement to NSF’s GK-12 program be given.
In addition, faculty are encouraged to include information on the GK-12 program in their “broader impacts” statements for new grant proposals; questions can be directed to Carolyn Ferguson.
