Kansas State University geography students are frequent, and successful, competitors for a variety of national and regional awards, scholarships, and fellowships.  Geography scholars have been recognized by agencies such as the Association of American Geographers, National Science Foundation, NASA, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Department of Defense.  Kansas State University geography students have earned a total of 17 GTU Buzzard Scholarships, the most of any university in the United States.  A complete listing of student honors can be found here.
