Executive Meeting Minutes
9/20/00

Officers present = Paul, Ross, Jason, Jeff, Paige, Chelsea, Amy, Cody
Meeting duration = 60 minutes

1) Next General Meeting
   a) The main topic will be "How 'free' is free speech in America?"
   b) We will break into discussion groups.
2) Religiously Incorrect
   a) The show is going to be on Sept. 28th from 2:00-3:30 PM.
   b) As of the time of our meeting, a location still was not
      reserved.
   c) Topics:
      i) Do school vouchers conflict with church/state separation?
      ii) Does a politician's religious background affect his/her
         ability to lead?
      iii) Does a person have to be religious in order to be moral?
   d) Confirmed guests or guests whom we would like to have:
      i) Charlie Clack (confirmed)
      ii) Paige Crowson (confirmed)
      iii) Luke Redington
      iv) David Jones
      v) Ali the physics major
      vi) 15 dancing whores (let's see who actually *reads* the
         minutes)
3) Superstition Bash on Friday, October 13th
   a) We want to set up an IF table in the Free Speech Zone by the
      Union and do lots of superstitious stuff.
   b) We want to have someone on a loudspeaker to say whatever he/she
      wants.
   c) A signup sheet should be available if anyone wants to get on
      our listserv.
   d) We have yet to decide if we will have a party later that night
      or not.
4) Soul Auction
   a) A location to have it still has not been decided upon and
      confirmed.
   b) We would like to have it at the CRU meeting on Oct. 26th, but we
      will reserve a room in the Union in case CRU is not interested
      in having it at their meeting. However, if they are interested,
      we will cancel on the room in the Union.
5) Funding for Flyers
   a) Amy will get the funding request form.
