General Meeting Minutes

March 13, 2003

1) Chi Rho (A Catholic Men's fraternity-like organization) members under the impression that Sara Hupp's speech about female catholic

    priests was scheduled for this week are informed that it has been postponed two weeks until March 27, 2003, and will be held in Union

    room 207, at 7:00 PM.

    a) An intense pre-speech discussion took place, which later splintered into many, regarding Chi Rho's views on Catholic Women Priests and

        the Catholic religion in general

        i) IF Members most involved in the discussions were Tom Clarke, Ben Simmons, Sara Hupp, and Erika Shearer.  Please contact them

           for details.

    b) The members of Chi Rho invited the members of IF to a 10 PM mass at St. Isidore's (located at to corner of Denison and Anderson) to

        be immediately followed by a bonfire at the end of Tuttle Cove Rd.

2) Next week's meeting (3-20-2003) will be an informal general meeting at Erika Shearer's apartment at 7:00 PM.

    a) The address is 1116 Bluemont # 3

    b) Those members still in Manhattan during spring break are encouraged and welcome to attend.

    c) A brainstorming session regarding the open house table will take place, and this will be an opportunity to present any ideas you may have.
