Hey all, Here's what you missed out on tonight.

Nick; interested in inviting a gentleman, Ed Buckner to speak at an event for us January 24. Nick would like this to be as big of an event as possible.

The following topics are available:

1. This is a Free Country, Not A Christian Nation (the logic and history that supports the separation of church and state)

2. "Attacking" Religion--Is it Rude to Criticize Religious Ideas or Claims?

3. Morality Without Religion

4. No More Lies! (things secular humanists should insist that the media and the public stop saying--more or less my GAMOW talk, but expanded)

5. Defending the Rights and Reputations of Unbelievers

6. What Do Secular Humanists Believe? (and why choose those and not other things)

7. Does it Make Sense to be an Atheist?

8. Do Secular Humanists Control America? Do They Want To?

Ed will also be speaking in KC soon, and so a carpool may be organized to see Buckner speak.

Paul: We need to do some recruiting and get active again (KU is beating us! We can't have that!)

Stephanie: Darwin Day: suggests a debate such as "Racism and Evolution"

Congratulations to Seth Peterson!!! Seth will be our new Vice President until officer elections in April.
