Executive Meeting Minutes

Officers Present: Paul, Ross, John, Jason, Keiv, Chelsea, Cody
Meeting Duration: 90 minutes
 
1) Officer Notes
 a) Paul
 i) said we will have another "Freethought, Free Speech" meeting
 for the 11/8 general
 b) Keiv
 i) needs some funny captions for the IF picture page
 c) Paige
 i) does not have flyers done just yet
 ii) wants to be on the panel for the next RI
 iii) wants to get a list together of who wants a smiley shirt
2) A Quick, Little Somethin' er Other
 a) John brought in some items that were left behind at our last
 party. Items include:
 i) Boxers
 ii) Panty hose
  iii) Orange bracelet (Paige?)
 iv) Batteries
 b) Talk to John about getting them back.
3) CFA Video Contest
 a) It needs to be mailed by 12/1.
 b) We need to have members talk about what they like about our
 group and also include why we deserve to win the contest.
 c) We want music to be in the video.
4) Soul Auction
 a) We will donate half of the proceeds to the Flint Hills
 Breadbasket.
 b) People not in IF will be allowed to sell their souls if they
 would like to.
 c) We voted on having deconversion stories.
 i) 6 were in favor, 0 were against
 d) We voted on having businesses sponsor the SA.
 i) 0 were in favor, 6 were against
 e) How to handle opening the bids still needs to be decided.
 f) Publicity was not discussed due to the absence of Paige and Amy.
 g) John promised to write something about the SA for the Collegian.
 h) John will also contact UFM and MAPJ (?).
 i) Contact Committee for the groups will be Paul, John, Keiv, and
 Chelsea.
5) Debate
 a) Ross discussed changing the budget request form for the new date
 of the debate.
 b) Brandon Pelton (CRU guy) said that January 24th will work.
 c) Cody's note: I don't remember an actual decision saying that
 1/24 *will* be the date, but my understanding after the meeting
 was that this date was okay.
6) Next Religiously Incorrect
 a) We're going to try and have another one near the end of the
 semester (last week of Nov. or first week of Dec.).
 b) E-mail Ross with topic ideas.
