MS student (TBD)

Objectives
  1. Determine the seasonal distribution, abundance, and habitat use of the Species of Greatest Conservation Need (Tier I and Tier II) near Bowersock Dam on the Kansas River.
  2. Evaluate physical and hydrologic (e.g., water temperature, flow, substrate) factors that affect distribution of fish above and below Bowersock Dam.
  3. Develop recommendations for fish passage at Bowersock Dam, including if passage will likely provide movement for native fish as well as Asian carp during different seasons.
