Parking information

Where to park

Visitor parking is conveniently located around campus. Depending on when you plan to visit campus, parking permit requirements and parking regulations will vary. Please review the following information to find the most appropriate way for you to park on campus. Please note, all visitors are required to obey all posted parking and traffic regulations on campus all days of the week.

Arriving on Friday?

Visitors parking on campus from between 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday, are required to purchase a parking permit from Parking Services. A visitor permit costs $5 a day.

Visitor permits may be obtained from the Information Kiosk on 17th Street adjacent to the garage from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm M-F, from the Parking Services Office at 1 KSU Parking Garage at the corner of 17th and Anderson from 7:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, and are available 24/7 from the KSU Police Dispatch located in Edwards Hall.

Visitor permits are valid in any parking lot designated with the signs O, R, W, T, or Z. Visitor permits are not valid in Service Vehicle areas, Reserved Parking areas, or Meter Parking. Vistors may also park in the parking garage south of the K-State Student Union at the standard rate.

Arriving on Saturday?

No visitor permit is required to park on campus on the weekends. When visiting campus on the weekend, visitors can park anywhere except reserved, no-parking, or handicapped-accessible stalls (unless displaying a valid disability placard or license plate). All visitors are still required to obey all posted parking and traffic regulations on campus. The parking garage south of the K-State Student Union will also be available for parking at the standard rate.
