Roll on Over to the "J"Start your Family Day at Jardine Apartments for a quick breakfast of cinnamon rolls, juice and coffee from the world famous Housing & Dining Services THE Bakery. Breakfast is served at the Frith Community Center, and K-State families have the first opportunity to tour the Tower Building. |

Konza Prairie Self-Guided HikeKonza Prairie Biological Station is a field research station owned by The Nature Conservancy and managed by Kansas State University's Division of Biology. The public nature trail system consists of three loops; 3-miles, 5-miles, and 7-miles. For more information, click the link. |

| 8:30 to 10am | K-State Legacy Pinning Ceremony & BreakfastCelebrate your family’s K-State tradition! The ceremony recognizes the commitment of K-Staters across generations and concludes with parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings and others pinning current K-State students as a symbol of shared loyalty to the purple and white. Family members who are not alumni are honored with K-Stater by Choice recognition. The cost of this event is $12 per student and $15 for family members. Tim Lindemuth, K-Stater magazine editor, will guide you as we gather information from the past to help us better understand today's K-State. This event is free to all students and families. |

There will be bug projects galore - and of course, we'll be serving gummy bugs! The open house will be in conjunction with the Robert Lang exhibition. The Student Friends of the Beach Museum of Art will be hosting the Open House with the help of the Entomology Club. |

Family Time in Cat TownJoin K-State families for a barbeque before the K-State vs. Tennessee Tech football game. Family Time in Cat Town is an opportunity for families to visit with K-State special guests and meet other K-State families. Those who attend can also purchase a chance to win the $2,000 tuition drawing. This event is sponsored by the K-State Parents and Family Association.
