Pittman Building
Erected in 1967 for $851,000 this structure encloses the facilities for the director, assistants and personnel responsible for the administration of residence halls and Jardine Terrace. All food for the dormitories is stored and distributed from the freezers, refrigerators and dry storage space in this unit. The building was named in honor of Dr. Martha S. Pittman who served as Head of the Department of Food Economics and Nutrition from 1923 to 1946.
