Campus Tour
Cardwell Hall
Several unusual facilities are available in this building including the James
R. McDonald Laboratory, which houses a Tandem van de Graff accelerator,
and atomic supercoducting linear accelerator and an EBIS source of highly
ionized atoms, together with equipment for studying atomic collisions.
A fully equipped planetarium permits students to view the location and
movement of celestial bodies during various seasons. An astronomical
observatory is located on the roof.
