Open space
The pleasant, open, green space and tree-shaded lawns of the campus constitute a major asset of the University. The retention of these features, in conjunction with addressing the pressing needs of new buildings, circulation and parking, will be a goal for the coming decades if the unique character of Kansas State University is to be maintained.
