Emergency service
Service and emergency vehicles need access to all buildings on the Kansas State University campus. To allow access to the pedestrian core, selected sidewalks will be widened and reinforced to support emergency vehicles. Service vehicles for maintenance and the disabled will be provided access through a similar street, drive and sidewalk network with dedicated service vehicle parking within the campus core.
