Campus Master Plan
Campus density
The character of the Kansas State University campus changes as one travels from the south to the north. The south end of the campus is the historic core and contains most of the academic, auxiliary and residential space. As the campus extends north of Claflin Road, the building density begins to reduce dramatically and, once north of Kimball, becomes primarily agricultural. An infill of contextually appropriate buildings, new quadrangles, pedestrian pathways and landscaping are proposed that will reinforce the current campus organization.
