Summer Workshop
June 22-26, 2009

This past June 70 high school girls spent five days on the K-State campus for our 7th annual summer workshop! We stayed in the dorms, experienced life on campus, participated in a wide variety of science and engineering hands-on activities, swam, bowled and got to know new friends.

Thanks to everyone who gave their time to make this event possible!

Shadow Day

April 23rd, 2009

Around one hundred girls from all around came to this event to see what a typical day at college is like for a female science, technology, engineering or mathematics student. Each girl went to classes with her mentor, explored campus life, had lunch at the Kansas State Student Union, and had the burning questions about college life answered!!

These events were sponsored by the KSU Women in Engineering and Science Program, Targeted Excellence Funding and our many partners.
