As you may know EXCITE! has gone through quite a few changes this last year. We are now a year round program and we also have events for girls in 9^th – 12^th grades. Both of those changes are huge for us and we are still trying to figure out how to make all the new events fun and exciting for the participants.

So when we started thinking about the 2007 Senior Advisory Panel we decided that it needed a new format. EXCITE! graduates who have completed at least the 9^th grade and are at least 14 years old are eligible to apply. This panel will operate for the spring and fall semesters of the 2007 school year. They will meet on a quarterly basis and will be responsible to advise and help plan the various EXCITE! events including not only the Summer Workshop but school year events as well. 

The dates of the Sr Panel quarterly meetings will be determined once the panel is formed and everyone’s schedules are considered.  The meetings will take place at Kansas State University in Manhattan.

If this sounds like something you are interested in, please complete the application and return it by January 31, 2007.  If your application is accepted you will be invited to the interviews on February 10^th.
