Group History

During the Fall semester of 1999, a small group of Kansas State University students came together to share their concerns about the state of the natural environment. As environmental conditions continued to worsen, the group of students also fell into disarray and their message was lost.On February 17, 2000, the group cam back together. Students for Environmental Action is now recognized by Kansas State University. SEA is working to promote environmental awareness and an ecological ethic on campus, in Manhattan, and the surrounding regions. As a new day dawns for a group of environmentally concerned students, a rebirth of the environment is nearing.
