Internships

An internship is an excellent way to explore career options and to network. The Department of English offers two possibilities for gaining academic credit for internships:

  1. ENGL 495 Internal Internship Overview and instructions for applying for an Internal Internship.
  2. ENGL 495 External Internship Overview and instructions for applying for an External Internship.

K-State English majors have interned at the Kansas City Zoo, at Hallmark, and as research and editorial assistants. For more information, consult the links and talk with your advisor. Career and Employment Services offers help in identifying internship opportunities--check out the Fall and Spring Career Fairs for employers who are interested in K-State interns.
