The Language, Rhetoric, and Composition track prepared me for a career as a technical writer by providing the skills to analyze written texts, to communicate in a variety of situations, and to evaluate audiences in many rhetorical situations.  This track also prepared me as a teacher of English by introducing me to a wide range of theories in an environment of knowledgeable and encouraging professors.
