Fields of interest: Restoration and 18th Century British Drama and Novels; Women's Studies.

Bonnie Nelson specializes in 18th century literature and drama. Her research has focused on the recovery of women's voices in the 18th century and she has published articles in such journals as Women's Writing, Theatre Survey, and Keats-Shelley Journal. Former head of Women's Studies, her specialty courses include Women Novelists of the 18th Century, 'Tis a Pity She's A Whore (Restoration and 18th century playwrights), and Women in Literature.
