  • Anne E. Riekenberg, Editorial Director, Hallmark Cards, Kansas City
  • Janell Walther, Project Assistant, University of Nebraska, Lincoln Public Policy Center

Kevin Rabas

Kevin Rabas earned his M.A. from K-State in 1998, and went on to earn a Ph.D from the University of Kansas in 2007. He is now an assistant professor of English at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. He has won the Langston Hughes Award and the Salina New Voice Award for his poetry. According to Kansas Poet Laureate Denise Low, "…Rabas has an authentic voice." She goes further to say, "…As an accomplished musician, he has the ability to translate sound into words."
